For CDL drivers, location privacy is not a luxury - it is a safety requirement. JourneyMatch is built around the principle that your routes, stops, and real-time GPS coordinates are yours alone. We do not share this information with other users, advertisers, or third parties.

Specifically, our route and location policy includes:

• No real-time tracking: your current GPS position is never displayed to other members. Route-based matching uses general corridor data - not live coordinates.
• No route selling: we never sell haul routes, truck stop preferences, or delivery schedules to any third party, including advertisers and logistics companies.
• Approximate matching only: route-intersection filters show potential matches along your general corridor (e.g., I-35 or I-80) without revealing exact timing or stops.
• Manual control: you choose what location data to display on your profile. You can set your location to a city, state, or region - never your exact address.
• Data deletion on request: you can permanently delete your route history and location data at any time from your privacy settings.

JourneyMatch uses multi-step verification to protect every member. This includes photo verification, optional ID checks, and community reports.
